Our host and sponsor, Thrivent Financial, hosted Harold Hegg – Director of Business Intelligence Strategy at Thrivent Financial, Bill Murphy – Consulting Business Architect at Thrivent Financial, and Stef Holt – Consulting Business Architect at Thrivent Financial.

Harold led the community in a case study of Thrivent’s recent experience with strategy definition and clarification.  Bill and Stef will provided a business architecture lens to the discussion.

Thrivent Financial’s recent experience with strategic planning and the need for strategy clarification using business architecture has been instrumental in investment prioritization discussions. We learned about what went well, difficulties experienced, and some lessons learned from this practical case study.

SIG Update:
Representatives of the Capability Roadmapping Special Interest Group (SIG) provided an update on their findings from discussions over the past several months. The presentation included: Common themes, problem statements, roadmap attributes and use cases. We highlighted an example of a roadmap harvested from the Community.
