Business Architecture: Undercover Role or Promising Profession?

January 21, 2014 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm CST

Please join us as Metropolitan State University hosts our January meeting!

We’ve heard stories of great successes and problem solving from companies, individual practitioners and well-known consultants who employ business architecture principles and tools, yet are reluctant to name their work in the organization as “business architecture.” On the other hand, we have passionate advocates for the discipline who proudly display the business architecture banner on their websites, org charts and name badges. What’s a practitioner to do?

In this slightly extended Community meeting, members of the Twin Cities Business Architecture Forum will have an opportunity to share their experiences and views on this dichotomy within the discipline, and explore what it will take to advance both the professional standing of business architects and the recognition and acceptance of the discipline in our organizations. We will feature a roundtable discussion and panel presentation format.
