Business Architecture Value Applied at Cargill

September 19, 2013 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm CDT

Please join us as Cargill hosts our November meeting!

Your Board will provide a brief update on progress since we last met, and we’ll introduce some ideas for increased collaboration and participation.

Our conversation continues at this meeting around a key interest area for most of us—how do we ensure the value potential of Business Architecture is known and takes hold in our organizations?

This meeting will feature presentations by Cargill’s Business Architecture team along with one of their Business Unit partners to share how Cargill is using Business Architecture to align business and IT. The Cargill team will be on hand to share how this works in practice and the value it provides for the organization.

A key challenge for emerging business architects is in gaining management support to prove business architecture’s value and move the practice forward.

Cargill’s presentation will show how the use of Business Architecture provides value for the business by creating a framework for alignment and giving a common language to the organization. Cargill’s approach to Business Architecture gives structure to planning and provides a gateway for discussions with the team.

The presentation will focus on the application of Business Architecture within the Risk Management Business Unit.
